Entering Address Data for Pre-qualification Loans

1.) When using DU for loan casefiles where the address is unknown (or not yet determined), enter the STATE information only.

2.) DO NOT enter any data in the following fields: street address, city, or ZIP Code. However, if a loan origination system requires an entry for the street address, enter TBD in that field.

3.) DU will then issue a message acknowledging that the submitted address is not complete, and, therefore, DU cannot provide a property fieldwork recommendation.

DU will not return a fieldwork recommendation until a complete address is entered.

4.) Always re-enter the subject address once confirmed so you can obtain the DU or the level of property field work required for loan delivery.

Enter State only

TBD can be added as the street address

TBD address can only be ran on a Quick Submit loan

**DU will be run at Initial Review by the Underwriter so the DU / Credit tab is optional.
